I’m fairly certain that sharing this article will have no discernible impact on changing anyone’s mind about the state of affairs in Washington, D.C., but I’m still compelled to do it for one reason:
It’s difficult for me to comprehend the level of hypocrisy and partisanship on display right now and the act of expressing my disbelief via this post is therapeutic on a personal level.
But, seriously…after the millions of dollars (and countless hours) spent by Republicans to finally catch Clinton in a lie about a blowjob so they could spend more money and time impeaching him for it, I find it extremely difficult to believe that an equally brazen lie made under oath by a Republican Attorney General(!) regarding undisclosed relations with THE RUSSIANS(?!?!?), especially given the context and associated implications, can be so easily dismissed.
That, in my opinion, is partisan politics at its most harmful, clearly working at cross-purposes to our national interests, not to mention the very concepts of democracy and truth.
There. I feel much better now.
